Beautiful storytelling. Wonderful book for children. Gives the reader a glimpse into the world of timetravel without the use of science fiction. Magical.

What a wonderful tale. There is nothing more exciting for a child to read about stepping back in time through a door into a garden that no longer exists in the present and meeting people from the long ago past. I loved it as a child and found myself...
