It seemed to take a while to get going but then about half way through became a real page turner that I couldn't put down. But then I found the ending felt a little rushed. Will definitely read more of this series though.

Very hard to read. Maybe it is because I watched the first season of True Blood before reading the book. The book wasn't incredibly well written, but the story was good, and very unique. Character development was slow, but a good southern vampire tale.
