OK, I'm probably gonna' get shit on for this review. First, I enjoyed the story of the book. As entertainment alone I really like this book, and while most people love this book for the subtext, I liked it because it was just a compelling story. That said, I thought the philosophy behind it was kind of obvious and I really wasn't blown away by any of the ideas. Maybe it's because the thoughts in the book have become canonized and commonplace in a lot of colleges and in literature, in fact, I'm pretty sure that's what it is. I kind of felt like I was having one of those horrible freshman philosophy class discussions with myself.
