Rowling's writing, while simple yet succinct, creates a world that she builds on for six more novels. You know it's a good childrens story when you forget you're reading a childrens story.

Fun, quick read. Surprised that there wasn't all that much more detail than they fit in the movie.

I've read and enjoyed all of the Harry Potter books. J.K.Rowling has a style which draws you into the plot and makes you want to know what happens to the characters. I was delighted that her amazing imagination has encouraged so many youngsters to turn to reading.

Fell in love with this series after reading this book! Do not usually like this sort of book, but cannot resist J.K. Rowling!
