A nasty film, but forget it, it came from a wonderful book, I love this series, it's incredible, a breath of fresh air at the time, and just perfectly complicated enough.

I found the meaning behind the story as well as the writing to be very compelling and had quite a bit of depth to it. Admittedly I read this series due to the 'bad' hype the catholic church was giving it. Frankly if one of them had actually finished...

This entire series is genius. It is full of action to keep children reading, while brimming over with historical facts and religious questions that will tantalize adults as well.
