I've just put down, or rather thrown down Daughters of Fire by Barbara Erskine. It's seldom I really cannot finish a book and this one had me thoroughly bored and frustrated by page 263. Add to that the proof reading which had me trying to decide where the speech quotes really should be or whether that was the correct word. A big turn-off was page 14's revelation that "... the blankets of diesel which spewed down from the low-flying aircraft shaking the house every couple of minutes on their way to Heathrow." Both the fuel and the time interval are highly suspect but verifiable by research.

I have had quite a few people say that they thought the idea of placing your friends in groups- ie paranormal or scify or action/adventure, etc... is a great idea! That way you could send your paranormal friends a message or your scify friends a message and not have to remember whos who... and make our friends group and sending friend mail so much more user friendly! Please and Thank you guys!

I'd like a 'started it but lost interest button' in the rate it section when I add a book and also a chance to easily review a book every time I add one as it doesn't always seem to give me the option! Also how about something along bookcrossing lines or a swapshop???

Hi all, our tech team have just made some fixes to the site. Some of the improvements are:
- You should now be able to see your wall again
- Forum posts will no longer be formatted into one paragraph, so you can post poetry properly again
- You will now not get a 404 when you report an error on a book/author page
- There is a new 'remember me' tick box when you log in. If you tick this, you will be automatically logged in next time you visit the site
Sorry these fixes took such a long time to arrive. Technical problems slowed things down. Thanks for being patient, and please keep us updated on any problems you have with these or any other features of the site!

I'm loving the changes to the site, bookarmy.
I love the changes made to the posts; I'm glad that we can now use paragraphs in our posts, instead of it coming up as one block of writing.
Keep it up :)
