Did anyone else see the Last Chance to See series with Stephen Fry and Mark Carwardine that recently finished on BBC? Or has anyone read, or is currently reading the book? It's a fascinating series about the world's most endangered species and the conservation work that is being done in the bid to save their species.

What is your favourite animal that was focused on in the series?
This is a discussion to raise awareness to Last Chance to See and it's cause!

I love the Kakapo - it so cute. Recently bought the book but haven't started it yet.

The Kakapo is amazing! I think that was my favourite animal that was focused on. It really did have a Victorian Gentleman's face! Did you see in the series where it tried to mate with Mark Carwardine's head? That's possibly the funniest thing I've ever seen!
The books is really good, you'll really enjoy it. I'm reading it at the moment and I love it.

I did see the Mark/Kakapo love affair. It was very funny - more so when Harry Hill did his take on it.

I didn't see what Harry Hill did with it, but I don't really want to watch it. Not a big fan of Harry Hill, but I am a big fan of Stephen and Mark. Don't want to two to mix, haha.
