Surprisingly, there is a Nobel Prizewinner no one has heard of before. Silence is golden, but the author is eloquent about the condition of women in her native land, Romania.

Childhood allegory

Enid Blyton

children's novel written by Enid Blyton is a Christian allegory and is loosely modelled on John Bunyan's "The Pilgrim's Progress". A boy named Peter and his two sisters, Anna and Patience, travel from the City of Turmoil to the City of Happiness. An interminable journey, including 'The World of Dream' seems to be at the centre of "The Pilgrim's Progress", published in 1693. Divided into parts, the third is an epigraphic sequel by an anonymous author, added in editions up to 1853.

I am surprised there is no forum for her. Am I doing this wrong? She is one of the best authors writing now. She is the kind of author that make you collect every one of her books.
