I'm running a Writing Advice series on my blog.
http://talltalesandshortstories.blogspot.com/
The posts are written by published authors and the current posts have been written by guest blogger and middle-grade children's author, Janice Hardy.
Running in conjunction with Janice Hardy's posts is a competition to win a copy of her novel.
The Pain Merchants (UK title) / The Shifter (US title) is Janice's debut novel and is published by Harper Collins.
You can win a free signed copy by visiting my blog and leaving a comment.
I do hope you'll enter.

What would the most interesting battles be between characters from different books? Dumbledor Vs Gandalf? Aragorn Vs. Eragon? And more importantly who would win?

On the bus this morning, for the first time I saw an ebook being read, and I wondered, as I pulled out of my bag my light, flimsy paperback, am I missing something? Please, enlighten me people; are ebooks really any good?

The title pretty much speaks for itself. Write about your most ideal conditions for reading. Just for fun! Mine, is at night, after i have taken a nice bath, cleansing myself of the day. Then i would enter my air-conditioned room and wear the most comfortable clothing in the world, pajamas. Then, i would turn off all the lights save one, my bedside lamp, and read late into the night..what about you?

Do you have enough time to read, or as much time as you'd like to have? How do you find time to read? Is there a time of day/place/circumstances that you regularly read?

Just like my favorite movies and TV shows, there are several books I go back to time and time again. Maltese Falcon, To Kill a Mockingbird, and two books I had from when I was a kid, A Room for Cathy and Sal Fisher at Girl Scout Camp.
What books have your read more than once?
