Could someone suggest me some books like "tithe" by holly black and "wings" by aprilynne pike please? <3 :)?

Category: Fiction
I really like how the books are about teenage fairies in the human world, I like the discovery when the main character finds out she (or he) is actually a fairy, and the cute fluffy teenage love parts are awesome too... I want to buy more books like that... so could someone suggest to me some similar books asap please? Thanks in advance, ^_^ <3

Surprisingly, there is a Nobel Prizewinner no one has heard of before. Silence is golden, but the author is eloquent about the condition of women in her native land, Romania.

How do film adaptations compare to the book?

Have you ever seen a film that you thought was better than the book, or did you feel that the film was a real let down?

Alice Hartley's Happiness

Philippa Gregory Books

Attached book:

Alice Hartley's Happiness

After reading the tudor books from Philippa Gregory, I recently saw a copy of another Gregory book in my local library titled 'Alice Hartley's Happiness'. I got the book out and was really looking forward to reading it. However I was bitterly disappointed, not enjoying the plot (which centred around a 'growth centre', or brothel and drug house to you and me and finding it very far fetched and unrealistic. I am starting to think that although Gregory is a very good writer and can capture an audiences full attention (as demonstrated with the Tudor series), maybe she is not so good at developing plots for more fictional books rather than historic novels. Therefore my question to all you avid readers is, have you read the Tudor or any other books by Philippa Gregory and what is your opinion on these? I am very interested in your opinions, thanks.

Historical fiction

What are the best historical novels you've read? By historical, I mean fiction based on real characters and/or events, rather than just fiction set in the past.
