I only joined up last night and am still not sure what everything does!!
I read just about anything, and if I find that I hate a book once I have started it, I will generally try to plough through it till the end, I can't stand to be defeated! I must agree that if the same character appears in too many books, it can get a bit "samey".

You are so much more dedicated than I am. I hate to say it but my friends want me to read an author who has the same character's in every book. I can't do it. I start the books and set them down.

Thanks guys! i have quite eclcetic tastes in books to be honest. but my guilty pleasure as a doctor is reading a good medical thriller. My one rule when it comes to reading though, is that i must always finish whatever book i start... even if i am not enjoying it.

welcome to bookarmy. I hope you enjoy it here. I have a different oppinion on the reading books. I have struggled through some books till the end and still hated what I read. I think there are so many great books out there why waste you time with one that isn't giving you pleasure unless of course it is for learning purposes.
