I love to read. I am a real "Book Worm" and have gotten into trouble in the past for not doing my homework... because I was too busy reading. I don't really read to challange myself, and I don't read because a book is a "classic." The way I see it, some of the books I'm reading now will be the classics in the future.
I have read all the Harry Potter books and all of the Twilight 'saga' and people sometimes ask me which I like more. The answer is Harry Potter, I just think I had more fun reading them.
